This week the Pursuit Channel rolled out the details of a new contest, “Pursuit Channel Fan Favorite.”

Very similar to March Madness, the contest will put two popular shows head for a “Fan”tastic Face-off. The show that receives the most votes on the Pursuit Channel Facebook Fan Page, goes on to live another day and continues in the bracket-style competition.

The first week of the competition, Rusty Baker Outdoors will go head to head with the boys over at Sovereign Sportsmen.

After more than a decade of selling out dance halls and music venues across the US and Europe, Texas Country Singer/Songwriter Rodney Hayden recently recorded his first LIVE Album at the Phoenix Saloon in New Braunfels, TX. I had the honor of bringing my friend onto the stage and introducing him to the audience, which was lined wall to wall in the standing-room only saloon. Rodney stunned the crowd with his amazing lyrics and "true-to-country" voice that has made him an international sensation.

If this isn't the best spot to watch a great game, I don't know what is. Life is good. Long Live the Boston Red Sox!

Ok, there. I’ve said it. My hunting buddy, and American Patriot, Rick Perry, will be the next (and best recent) President of this country. He will not be on vacation (like that dude who currently lives in DC) while our country has it's worst credit rating in HISTORY and is drowning in economic sorrow. RBO is for PERRY!

There are many fine places to spend time at in the great state of Texas but one of my all time favorites is the King Ranch. This month we’re hunting hogs and having a great time. Besides the amazine location and the thrill of the hunt, I’m always amazed at the great lengths this amazine place goes to conserve our great outdoors. They are doing things the right way here in South Texas and I’m privileged to have the opportunity to hunt at such an amazing local.

I’m sitting here enjoying a great time in Canada at the WildTV awards. WildTV has some amazing programming! Tonight at the awards the place looks real nice…So on every table there's a LIVE fish in a bowl with pretty rocks....I’m wondering what are the odds that my fish gets drunk tonight??
